MIDDLESBROUGH have added to their forward line with the eye-catching addition of Aston Villa winger Samuel Iling-Junior.
The former Juventus forward arrives on loan until the end of the season, with Villa having opted to cut short his stay with Bologna, where he's been in the first half of the campaign.
The England Under-21 international was in Chelsea's academy before moving to Juventus in 2020. He made 24 Serie A appearances for Juventus last season.

Although he hasn't played as much as Villa would have liked in the first half of the season in Italy, Iling-Junior still played in eight Champions League games and scored in a 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund last month.
Villa are keen for Iling-Junior to play more football in the second half of the season and trust Boro having seen how much Cameron Archer developed during his loan spell at the Riverside and also being struck by Morgan Rogers' swift improvement on Teesside before they signed the forward 12 months ago. It wasn't a deal Boro were understood to be actively pursuing at the start of the month, but similar to the Ben Doak situation in the summer, they pounced when they learnt of the opportunity to land Iling-Junior.
Iling-Junior is most at home on the wing but is a versatile forward and can also play at wing-back.
